I wrote a little script that did this, and had it all packaged up for distribution and everything.. not sure if I have it around anymore, but it's possible, definitely. I haven't used it since they made everyone's log files separate though, so even if I find it it'll need some modification.

If you decide to install perl, it makes it trivial.

I still have the same problems that you're having... I end up moving the logs to a unix box to search them since opening a .txt file that large in Word etc is a nightmare since it takes about 15 minutes to insert page breaks and formatting.

PS. Hmm... actually, I bet there's freeware log rotation software for Windows somewhere, I'll check that out too.
